Google’s Launchpad Start Scheduled for Johannesburg in March 2017

Global software and technology giant Google has announced its first ever Developers Launchpad Start in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The week-long bootcamp will see 20 startups participating in the programme, taking place in partnership with JoziHub from 27 to 31 March 2017.

The 5-day in-person mentoring bootcamp is designed to help early stage startups tackle and overcome critical growth challenges.

Drawing on the extensive experience of mentors – selected by the programme’s Head Mentors and a team of Googlers – startups will be exposed to the fields of Product Strategy, UX/ UI, Technology and Marketing as well as Pitching, Finance or VC through one-on-one sessions.

There is no fee for startups chosen to be part of Launchpad Start Johannesburg and Google will provide travel support for the startups coming from out of town for the event.
