China’s Jack Ma announces support for African entrepreneurs, conservation efforts during his visit to Kenya.
The news came during his well-publicised two-day trip to Kenya and Rwanda, which came as part of his role as Special Adviser for Youth Entrepreneurship and Small Business for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Ma, also the special advisor of UNCTAD also announced that he will work with universities and governments to develop a training program for African young people on e-commerce and cloud computing.
He also announced his collaboration with UNCTAD to offer 200 African entrepreneurs hands-on experience at his retail empire – Alibaba in China.
