The new facility will pave the way for the company’s hyper-scale partners to expand digital services and solutions to more West African countries, making Africa Data Centres the largest supplier in the region, with facilities in Nigeria, Togo, and now Ghana.
The Accra facility’s 30MW capacity will be critical in leading the fight for hyper-scale customers to adopt digitization solutions in West Africa. “This new facility will be a huge step forward in our ambitious long-term goals to reduce Africa’s digital divide by offering digital services to more businesses and people.” “We chose Accra as our next location because there is a tremendous demand from hyper-scalers, cloud operators, and multinational organizations to digitally transform West Africa,” Durvasula explains.
