Uganda’s co-working space; Hive Colab to host payment startup Flutterwave to discuss their flagship product; rave to Startup Founders
San Francisco and Nigerian based online payment technology solutions firm; Flutterwave in partnership with Uganda’s co-working space; Hive Colab will on Friday 2nd, November 2018 hold a meet and discuss event to enlighten more about Flutterwave’s flagship product, Rave.
Flutterwave introduced Rave as a service that enables merchants accept global payments from card, bank accounts and USSD – following its recent expansion to Uganda.
Flutterwave expanding Rave to Uganda, saw keen interest in helping Ugandan startups access more competitively priced payment processing in quick time.The product allows entrepreneurs and businesses accept debit/credit payments from customers in 154+ countries. Visa, Mastercard, Verve and more are all supported.
Customers of Ugandan startups from the US, South Africa, and Nigeria can pay safely directly from their bank accounts or mobile wallet.
At a meet and greet event that was held at The Innovation Village in attendance of over 50 startup Founders urged them and all startups at large to use Rave. According to Flutterwave, Rave is already certified by, and meets, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
Adds that it’s currently used by over 45,000 merchants in the U.S, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Some of the notable merchants using the platform include Uber, Booking.com, and TransferWise.
