The focus of the workshop was to introduce social activists in Ghana to digital tools, which can help support their activities related to the 2012 Ghana Elections.
Through the workshop, Google aimed to:

Build general awareness around digital tools for elections awareness
Share best practices and case studies from other elections around the world
Encourage a conversation among social activists on how the Internet can be used to complement and improve ongoing work for the upcoming election.
